KAS Fall Field Trip:
Konza Prairie - guided tour of the Butterfly Hill

1 pm - 3 pm, Saturday, October 11, 2014
Participants will assemble at the Meeting Hall (see map)

Directions to Konza:
1) From Manhattan or K-177: At the east end of the Kansas River bridge in Manhattan, follow McDowell Creek Road (Riley Co. 901) to the south, approximately 6.25 miles to the Konza entrance on the left.
OR: From I-70: Exit 307, McDowell Creek Road, proceed northeast approximately 4.5 miles to the Konza entrance on the right.
2) Proceed on the gravel road approximately 1 mile to the headquarters. (At about 1/2 mile, proceed through a gate, which is not closed).
3) Parking areas are to the west side of the stone barn, or west side of the lab building.

A Symposium on Ecohydrology and Climate Change at Kansas Natural Areas and Research Stations was held at the Annual Meeting.
